This Week: August 24th

If you noticed some missing posts the past week or so….I want to explain. Do you remember a few weeks ago when I mentioned we were playing the “is it allergies or did you catch something at school” game? Well….the smallest Barger caught COVID his first week of school and shared it with all of us. Needless to say, with an autoimmune disorder, I got hit the hardest and am just now really getting over it. I haven’t had the energy to keep up with my writing or reading, so I fell a bit behind. Hoping we will be back at it this week like normal since we have some amazing books to share this week – a quirky romance, a recap of our favorite reads this month, and a historical fiction that will keep you on the edge of your seat!

Here’s the books I’m looking forward to discussing with you this week. Grab your copies of these books by clicking the images below:

The Dead Romantics

by Ashley Poston

Posting on Tuesday, August 26th

I have been hearing about this book for ages and I’m so glad I finally found time to read it! I really wasn’t sure about it after the first few chapters, but the plot and the character development really blew my socks off! If you love Emily Henry novels, or the old TV show Medium, you’re going to love this one!

Since the list of authors will vary for each of you, I’m including some of my favorite books below – if you haven’t read these authors, check them out!
