This Week: July 6th

When it gets this hot, I always wish I could get away to somewhere cooler…or at least to somewhere with plenty of sand and water! When I went on vacation earlier this year, I loved spending my mornings on the beach watching the sunrise over the Atlantic while reading a good book. Do you like to read on the beach?

Even if you aren’t reading with your toes in the sand, our prompt this week will at least transport you there in mind. We are also reading two fantastic new releases by authors I love. What are you reading this week?

Here’s the books I’m looking forward to discussing with you this week. Grab your copies of these books by clicking the images below:

by Elin Hilderbrand

Posting on Tuesday, July 8th

Four couples have built an idyllic life in Nantucket together. Friendship, business partnership, raising kids together – it’s the best. Except for the secrets they are keeping from each other. When tragedy strikes, those secrets threaten to break them all apart. Will their friendships survive the summer?

Here’s some other great options for this prompt:

Sponsored Read – Week 28

Apostle’s Cove

by William Kent Krueger

Posting on Saturday, July 12th

Book 21 in the Cork O’Connor series is here! I LOVED the last installment and couldn’t wait for this one! Cork has a long history of solving cases no one else could solve. But could he have made a mistake in a case decades ago and put an innocent man behind bars? His son thinks he did…and now Cork is on a mission to set the record straight one way or the other.
