Happy June, friends! This month is all about the Dads and Grads usually, so we chose blue for our monthly color. However, June is also Pride Month! If you’re celebrating, feel free to substitute rainbow as your monthly color!
We are kicking off Pride Month by reading a book by an LGBTQ+ author. We are also honoring Juneteenth by reading about slavery later this month, and honoring our graduates by reading books set in a workplace, too. What are you reading this month?

Over the past few years, we’ve read a few books that fit with this theme. Here’s the ones that received full reviews on the site:
- Be Where Your Feet Are, Scott M O’Neil
- Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, Jessica Guerrieri

What books would you add to this list?
This was an interesting playlist to put together. When I searched online for “blue music”, I got many suggestions for sad songs, but not anything related to the color. Never fear! This is not a sad sappy playlist! I think you’ll enjoy this mix of rock, country, and international songs that are easy to listen to and upbeat!
