This Week: May 18th

Our staycation is nearly over, but it has been so much fun! We spent time at the Museum of Aviation at Robins AFB, the Atlanta Zoo, and the Fernbank Museum, but we also spent a lot of time reading good books – I think I finished 4 this week! The trip to the Museum of Aviation was particularly interesting since we are celebrating Armed Forces Day (5/17) this week with our prompt “with a military character”. We learned so much about aviation in battle from World War I through the 2000’s! This week, we’re also learning about the importance of thinking outside the box and enjoying a beautiful summer read just in time for Memorial Day!

Here’s the books I’m looking forward to discussing with you this week. Grab your copies of these books by clicking the images below:

When Shane and his troops were preparing to ship out overseas, one chance encounter with a nurse brightens his world. But when he gets injured and sent home, Shane ends up in her care…and is none too pleased. Will she be able to give him a reason to try hard in recovery, or will their brand-new relationship fall apart?

Here’s some other great books that would work for this prompt:

I work on a team that was specifically designed to think outside the box for our customers – something this book delves into deeply. If you’re in management, you’ll love this one!
