Happy Easter, friends! Our family is taking time offline this week to remember why this day is so special for us, and also to celebrate your youngest’s birthday at the end of the week. This week’s posts are prescheduled and I will be returning messages periodically throughout the week. This is an interesting take on Queen Victoria’s early life in Kensington Palace, told through the eyes of her companion – the daughter of Sir John Conroy. One warning – while Worlsey is a noted historian, this book is much more fiction than history.
