This Week: March 30th

We are switching months and switching color themes this week! March’s green theme is giving way to April’s purple color scheme in ode to my precocious youngest offspring who turns 9 later in the month – it’s his favorite color! This week, we’re focusing on one of my favorite genres – historical fiction – with two great selections that take us from New England to Europe and back again!

Here’s the books I’m looking forward to discussing with you this week. Grab your copies of these books by clicking the images below:

Sponsored Read – Week 14

Austen at Sea

by Natalie Jenner

Posting on Saturday, April 5th

A State Supreme Court Justice’s daughters and his coworker on the bench, a pair of rare-book-dealing brothers, a State Senator’s daughter, and Louisa May Alcott all board a ship from Boston to London. It sounds like the beginning to a riddle, but this is a series of real events that will change the lives of each person onboard, brought together by their love of Jane Austen and her works.
