This Week: March 23rd

I know our theme this month is green, but my world is yellow with pollen this week – how about yours? I love seeing the world come to life in the spring, but only through the windows while I enjoy a book from the comfort of my low-pollen home with a cup of tea with honey and lemon to help with my allergies! Our books this week will keep you entertained if you’re cooped up indoors, too. We’re following a slow burn friends-to-lovers romance, recapping all the fantastic books we’ve read this month, and finishing our week with a fantastic debut novel about the demands of motherhood in a “picture perfect” society.

Here’s the books I’m looking forward to discussing with you this week. Grab your copies of these books by clicking the images below:

by Susannah Nix

Posting on Tuesday, March 25th

If you love sports-themed romances, or the friends-to-lovers trope, or even the friends-of-my-big-brother trope, this book is for you. I was expecting a little more Highlands Games and a little less….well, I won’t give away too much. But I did enjoy this book!

Here’s some other great books that would work for this prompt:

Yet another month in the books and it’s time to recap what we read! Beyond choosing our top book for March, I’ll also share my top pick from all of our first quarter reads as well as our April reading prompts!

Sponsored Read – Week 13

Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea

by Jessica Guerrieri

Posting on Saturday, March 29th

This is another debut novel and such an important story to read. The mental health impact motherhood and the pressures to conform to what others think we should be is front and center here. This was a great read!
