I’m still thinking about how great the Amelia Island Book Festival was last week – the author panels and the exposition hall were so great! I also had a great time reading on the beach while I was island hopping through the Georgia golden isles and along the north Florida coast, including this week’s great reads! This week, we’re traveling to Ireland, back in time to England during WWII, and the American suburbs in the 1960’s.
Here’s the books I’m looking forward to discussing with you this week. Grab your copies of these books by clicking the images below:

RWL Reading Challenge – Week 11: Saint Patrick’s Day
Greetings from Somewhere Else
by Monica McInerney
Posting on Tuesday, March 11th
While we’re still a week off from Saint Patrick’s Day, I wanted to read something set in Ireland to get in the mood for the holiday. This quirky tale takes readers from Australia to Ireland and back again on a romantic journey that also teaches readers history of the area through the heroine’s eyes. I think you’ll like this one!
Here’s some other great books that would work for this prompt:
- Bestseller: Circle of Friends, Maeve Binchy
- General Fiction: Ireland, Melody Carlson
- Romance: Whiskey Prince, Toni Aleo
- Thriller: St. Patrick’s Day Murder, Leslie Meier
- Nonfiction: The Light of Tara, John Desjarlais
The Secret Book of Flora Lea

This was my beach read last weekend and I loved it! I couldn’t put it down! I’ll be posting a quick review of this book on Instagram only.

I selected this one for the name and the author, but stayed for the description. This is Designing Women meets Sweet Magnolias and my southern heart is here for the DRAMA! You are going to love this one!
