To me, March is when the flowers start blooming and the world starts to come back to life. Spring doesn’t officially start until the 20th, but, if you live in the south, you’ve probably already seen the wildflowers and daffodils start peaking their heads out in your yard! Taking inspiration from all the greenery (and the pollen!), I thought this would be a great month to look at green books! Don’t forget our monthly theme can be taken as the color of the cover or as a title with the color in the name. Take a look at our prompts for the weeks coming up – what are you reading in February?

Over the past few years, we’ve read a few books that fit with this theme. Here’s the ones that received full reviews on the site:
- A Constellation of Roses, Miranda Asebedo
- Fangirl Down, Tessa Bailey
- Litle Fires Everywhere, Celeste Ng
- The Cactus, Sarah Haywood
- The Radium Girls, Kate Moore
- The Secret Life of Bees, Sue Monk Kid
- The Secret to Hummingbird Cake, Celese Fletcher McHale
- The Simplicity of Cider, Amy E Reichert
