Is it hot where you are? We are DEFINITELY in Summer here! We’ve already hit 100 degrees a few times in June and I’m not looking forward to even more hot weather this month. But there is some good that comes with the heat, like ice cream and lemonade….and time in the water! This month, we’ll spend time reading books about the pool and road trips – both things I’m getting to experience in July! We are also going to be reading books with numerals in the title in honor of my birthday! What kind of fun are you having this summer?

Years ago, I had a Jeep Wrangler and loved summer because I could drive around with the top down and good music playing. I had a playlist like this and any time I hear some of these songs, I instantly get a smile on my face and think about the warmth of the sun on my face! Do you have songs like that?
