I am a firm believer in giving books for celebrations – they are the gift that can keep on giving! Every time I read a favorite story, I pick up on different aspects of the plot and characters that give the story more depth. With Father’s Day on Sunday, I thought we could look at some great gift books for dads. I provided a good list last year, but updating this year with some additional options:
For the new dad or dad-to-be:
- Be Prepared: A Practical Handbook for New Dads, Gary Greenberg & Jeannie Hayden

Dads come in all shapes, sizes, and origins. For those of you who don’t have a father figure to celebrate today, we celebrate you, too. You are here, and you are good stewards in the world…share a dad joke or pass on some information to someone else today the way the dad you want would do for you.
