Earth Day Reads

The first Earth Day was held in 1970 and was inspired by the protests from the previous decade. Gaylord Nelson wanted to educate people on the damage mankind does through careless actions. For the past 34 years, Earth Day has been a global affair with countries worldwide participating in activities. We will be celebrating Earth Day by reading books about the impact mankind has had on the world around us, including climate change, effects on migration paths, and pollution.
