How’s your car looking? A little yellow from all the pollen? That’s the case at our house! All that pollen means lots of beautiful flowers and the arrival of the Spring season! Our theme last week was flowers and I listed some great flower-themed books in the Sunday weekly agenda post, but let’s look at some other floral and spring-themed reads.
Here’s a few books we’ve previously reviewed that fit well with our theme this month:
- Charlotte’s Webb, E.B. White & Garth Williams
- House of Hollow, Krystal Sutherland
- Maame, Jessica George
- The Butterfly Collector, Tea Cooper
- The Magnolia Palace, Fiona Davis
- A Constellation of Roses, Miranda Asebedo
- Flowers on Main, Sherryl Woods
- Anne of Green Gables, LM Montgomery
Some additional books you should check out are:
- The Secret Garden, Frances Hodgson Burnett
- Absent in the Spring, Agatha Christie
- The Language of Flowers, Vanessa Diffenbaugh
- The Enchanted April, Elizabeth von Arnim
- The Daffodil Mystery, Edgar Wallace
- Silent Spring, Rachel Carson
What books would you add to this list?
I love music while I read, or work, or just do things around the house. This month’s playlist has been fun to put together – all flower themed songs and Spring vibes! You can access the Spotify playlist for April here. Any songs you’d add?
