This Week: March 31st

With the start of a new month, we have a new theme for our reading: flowers! This is also our theme for the Read With Lindsey 2024 Reading Challenge this week, too. I love flowers and keep fresh cut flowers in our house all the time – it’s something my great-grandmother instilled in me growing up. My favorite flowers aren’t quite in season around Georgia yet, though – golden sunflowers and blue hydrangeas. What are your favorites?

Here’s the books I’m looking forward to discussing with you this week. Grab your copies of these books by clicking the images below:

I haven’t seen the Netflix film inspired by this book yet, but it’s in the queue! This is an interesting look at high school in a small town. It’s focused on mental health in the wake of tragic loss, and how to move forward.

Here’s some other great books that would work for this prompt in popular genres:

Rotating Posts – Week 14: Nonfiction

Gung Ho!

by Ken Blanchard & Sheldon Bowles

Posting on Saturday, April 6th

This is actually the 4th time I’ve read this book over the past 15 years. It was originally suggested to me by my manager at my last job and I learn or remember new things every time I read it! Now that I’m managing two high-volume customers that work with our top customers, I wanted to re-read this masterpiece to remember how to motivate my teammates to success!
