February Recap & March Prompts

We are 9 weeks into 2024 and our inaugural reading challenge! How are you doing with the prompts? Any fun new reads you wouldn’t have read before? That’s my favorite part of a challenge like this!

This month, I reviewed 13 books – 7 audiobooks and 6 physical copies. Let’s take a look back the reviews of those books – click below to visit the reviews:

3 Stars

  • Chocolate Wars, Deborah Cadbury
  • Cure for the Common Breakup, Beth Kendrick

I read a lot of really great books this month! There was a clear winner though for best book – Nicholas Ponticello’s The Secret Order of the Scepter & Gavel! As I mentioned in the full review, I do not typically read science fiction, but the author reached out asking if I would consider his book. I was surprised at how engrossed I was with this story! It was a one-sitting read for me and I’ve been telling everyone I know they need to read it!

March Reading Plan

The March theme is Travel! The weekly prompts have us traveling overseas to both Ireland and India…and our other books will see additional countries!

This is another month of holidays driving these prompts – Ramadan, Saint Patrick’s Day, Holi, and Easter!

This month’s prompts for the US States challenge are:

States:

  • Georgia
  • Hawaii
  • Idaho
  • Illinois

Other books I’m reading this month:

  • 10. Nonfiction – The Hemingses of Monticello
  • 11. ARC – Toxic Prey
  • 12. TBR Stack – tbd
  • 13. ARC – tbd

I can’t wait to read these great books with you – keep an eye out for the weekly previews on Sundays for what I’m reviewing each week!
