It’s Thanksgiving weeks here in the US, which means lots of travel and cooking and time with family if you’re celebrating. We are traveling, so I’ll be stepping away from social media and the blog this week. Other than some pre-scheduled posts, you won’t see much from me this week. The good news? That gives me much more time to read at the beach!
Here’s the books I’m looking forward to discussing with you this week. Grab your copies of these books by clicking the images below:
Tom Clancy Command and Control

Prompt: Releasing this week!
This is another Read With Lindsey Most Anticipated Release of 2023! I love the Jack Ryan series and this is the last book Cameron will be adding to the series before it moves to a new contributor. If you loved the Jack Ryan Prime series staring John Krasinksi, you will love this novel!
Under an Outlaw Moon
by Dietrich Kalteis
Posting on Tuesday, November 21st
Prompt: Borrowed from a friend
I think we all know the story of Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow – the bank robbers of the Great Depression. But they weren’t the only ones! Bennie and Stella Mae Dickson were young newlyweds known as the Time Lock Bandits. This is a great recounting of their ultimate demise and what made them turn to robbing banks.
Mayflower
by Nathaniel Philbrick
Posting on Thursday, November 23rd
Prompt: Thanksgiving
I have wanted to read this one for over a year! Originally on my list for Thanksgiving reads last year, I wasn’t able to get a copy of it in time, so put it off till this year. This is the story of the Pilgrims, the first Thanksgiving, and what happened to them after.

Launching the Read With Lindsey 2024 Reading Challenge!
Posting on Friday, November 24th
It’s finally time to share the full list of weekly prompts for the 2024 RWL Reading Challenge! You’ll be able to download a printable copy and get all the details on Black Friday!
Wild

Prompt: November Memoir
So….this one has been on my TBR list since that moment Lorelai attempts to recreate the adventure in “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life”. I have wanted to walk the Appalachian Trail since high school, but that will probably never happen in full (thanks autoimmune disorder), but it feels like I’m living it through this audiobook!
