October Recap & November Reading Plan

October was a slower reading month as I am working ahead on my reading list for the rest of the year in preparation for the Read With Lindsey 2024 Reading Challenge! I finished 12 this month – 6 audio and 6 print books. Let’s take a look back the reviews of those books – click below to visit the reviews:

5 Stars

These books are so different front one another and I loved each for a different reason. Overall, my favorite was A Man Called Ove. I connected with this book because of how realistic it was. Any maybe a tiny bit because I see my future self in Ove – cranky, set in their ways, and despondent after the loss of their loved one. It was a gut-wrenching read for me and one that will stay with me for a very long time.

I’m doubling down on this prompt – Barnes is from Georgia, but also just none county over from where I grew up. This book was a best seller when it came out and was later made into a TV Movie with Andy Griffith and Johnny Cash!
