Agenda: Week of October 8th

After a week of travel for work, I’m looking forward to being home this week! Especially with an author event later this week. What are you looking forward to this week?

Here’s the books I’m looking forward to discussing with you this week. Grab your copies of these books by clicking the images below:

Homeward

by Angela Jackson-Brown

Posting on Monday, October 9th

Prompt: Sponsored Read

I had a hole in my schedule for audiobooks and got excited when I noticed this was available on NetGalley last week! Set in South Georgia, this is turning out to be a book about hard choices and difficult situations.

New Release Tuesday

Posting on Tuesday, October 10th

South of the Buttonwood Tree

by Heather Webber

Posting on Thursday, October 12th

Prompt: By an author you love

I have read a few Heather Webber books in the past and LOVED them. The magical realism and romance she weaves into the stories is reminiscent of Alice Hofman’s works. I always love the twists and turns in her work, too. You’re going to love this one!

Author Event Recap

Posting on Friday, October 13th

Steve Inskeep discussing Differ We Must

I’m excited to be returning to the Atlanta History Center to hear this discussion later in the week. This book is a unique look at Abraham Lincoln and his successes in a very divided world.

The Storyteller

by Dave Grohl

Posting on Saturday, October 14th

Prompt: October Memoir

If you are a Foo Fighters or Nirvana fan, you are going to love this book! Also – I went with the audiobook so I could hear Grohl read his own words!!
