Bright Lights, Big ChristmasA Read With Lindsey Most Anticipated Release!

by Mary Kay Andrews

I was honored to receive an advance copy of this book to review a few months back – I posted the full review again yesterday. This really is a cute holiday romance that sees a small-town girl fall for the big-city guy. If you’re looking for a light book to escape in to and get you in the mood for the holiday, you should grab this one today!

Killing the Witches

by Bill O’Reilly and Martin Dugard

O’Reilly and Dugard are back with the newest release in their Killing series. I’ve read several of these books and can’t wait to dig in to this one. The duo discusses the Salem Witch Trials, but also how they still impact our country. This is an interesting take on the subject focusing on the ministers who exerted so much control over the Puritan culture.

Kids’ books releasing today

Construction Site: Taking Flight!

by Sherri Buskey Rinker & AG Ford

This book comes just in time for holiday travel season! If you are taking your tiny reader on a flight to see family or just for vacation, this is the book for you! From the duo that brought us Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction Site, this book looks at a very unique construction site…at an airport!

Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Chalice of the Gods

by Rick Riordan

This latest release in the Percy Jackson franchise sees fan favorites from the original book coming together for Percy’s next big adventure…college! Full of mythology, readers will find Percy has aged up, just like they have, in the decade since the last book was released.

Something, Someday

by Amanda Gorman and Christian Robinson

These authors’ names should sound familiar to you – Gorman is a poet who spoke as a teen at a presidential inauguration and Robinson is Caldecott Honor recipient and Corretta Scott King Honor winner. This very talented duo come together to show how even the smallest step can make the biggest impact, even when it feels overwhelming and like you don’t matter. This is a great book to show kids what they can do to change the world around them, even at their age and size!
