I will actually be picking up my copy of this novel next week at the Marcus Jewish Community Center book signing with the author! Another debut novel paying respect to the author’s family history. This one is inspired by Brown’s grandmother and the stories she told of how her family survived WWII in London while trying to live a “normal” life.
