New Release Tuesday – 7/25/2023

It’s my birthday week, so I’m treating myself to quite a haul from our Bookshop.org page today! Do you give books as gifts? It can be such a personal decision, but also so meaningful for the recipient. Me personally, I love new books!!

Are you picking up any of these new releases today? You can pre-order your copies by clicking the images below.

Pink Lemonade Cake Murder by Joanne Fluke

Murder mystery, baking, and plenty of recipes are going to make this book a fan favorite this summer. When a former MLB player turns up dead at a small-town summer festival, the list of suspects is a mile long. But when Hannah’s mother ends up on that list, she takes matters in her own hands to clear this up!

The Bookbinder by Pip Williams

Two sisters are working in the book bindery in Oxford, England, when WWI breaks out. But that is where their similarities stop – one strives for more, the other is content. When refugees and foreign soldiers begin arriving in their small town, these differences really begin to show. Focusing on the power of knowledge is something Williams is good at – her debut novel The Dictionary of Lost Words became a best seller last year.

The Little Village of Book Lovers by Nina George

An orphan helps her foster parents start a mobile library in the south of France in the 1960’s. But that becomes so much more when the girl becomes known for matching more than books with the townspeople – she’s matching love. The Little Village of Book Lovers is the novel that inspires Jean Perdue’s floating bookstore in George’s best-selling novel The Little Paris Bookshop.
