Did you read all your books over the Memorial Day Weekend? Good news – it’s New Release Tuesday and there’s some great books coming out today! Today’s list is short, but there are many others hitting shelves. What are you picking up?

From the best selling author of The Guncle, this book is sure to be a best seller, too!
The Paris Deception by Bryn Turnbull – two women are working under the watchful eye of the Nazis in Paris during the WWII occupation, restoring art stolen from Jewish families. They hatch a plan to save the art, and the artists…but how long can they work before being discovered?

Amy Wu and the Ribbon Dance by Kat Zhang and Charlene Chua – Amy is learning about the Chinese ribbon dance and can’t wait to try it out herself! This lesson in learning to move, the power of friends, and knowing it doesn’t have to be perfect every time will be a big hit with any of your little movers!
Under the Blanket Sky by Tim Fischer – a strange owl befriends a little boy. They spend all summer playing and going on adventures, until it’s time for the owl to move on, leaving the little boy to look back at their time together. This book is tops on my list to pick up today – with my eldest heading to college in the Fall, we began grappling with the changes that will bring us and the tears (from all of us) because things can’t stay the same.
