New Release Tuesday is back again! Today’s list is short, but there are some great books! What are you bringing home today?
A Song and a Prayer by Loretta Lynn and Kim McLean – several country music legends have books coming out in 2023, but Loretta’s is the only posthumous release planned. This book of 30 devotions was inspired by the authors’ writing sessions and is peppered with inspirational song lyrics throughout.
Rogue Justice by Stacey Abrams – You might know Abrams name from Atlanta and Georgia politics, but she’s released several books, too! This latest book is a thriller in the legal world. If you liked The Lincoln Lawyer or The Pelican Brief I think you’ll love this one!
When the World Didn’t End by Guinevere Turner – this poignant memoir recounts the author’s upbringing in a cult, and the chaos that followed when her family was exiled to the outside world. This particular doomsday cult is not one I’m familiar with, but this memoir is tops on my list to pick up today!
Kids’ Books releasing today
Let’s Build a Dam by Daniel Fehr and Mariachiara di Giorgio – three siblings set out to build a dam…and end up getting a lot of attention as it grows bigger and bigger! But then one wants his stone back and the kids have to figure out how to make it work.
The Digger and the Butterfly by Joseph Kuefler – this is the latest release in the Digger series and I can’t wait to read it to my son! When a cocoon is formed in Digger’s bucket, he has to hold still and can’t work hard with this friends on the jobsite. That pause lets him take notice of the world beyond the jobsite!
