It’s New Release Tuesday! There are so many great new books available today – below are just a few of our favorites!
Bad Kitty: Supercat – For advent this year, we gave my 6 year old a new-to-us book every night. We included several books in the Bad Kitty series and they were an instant hit! In this newest edition, Bad Kitty goes for a play date with her best friend which takes them on a superhero scavenger hunt! I can hear my son giggling now!
The Lipstick Bureau by Michelle Gable – This is inspired by a true story of a wife turned WWII spy in Rome. I am a sucker for WWII historical fiction, especially about the role of women behind enemy lines. I am really looking forward to this one!
The Night Before Lunar New Year – this is another children’s book series we love. My son is autistic and benefits from books like this that can walk him through what to expect with new situations or experiences. In this book, a family is getting ready for the holiday, but their little girl is scared about the noises and big dragons that are part of the celebration.
Love from Matilda by Roald Dahl – who doesn’t love Matilda! We read the original Matilda as a family earlier this year and all enjoyed it. In this new story, Matilda shows us all the ways and places love can be found.
Disney’s 100th Anniversary Box Set of 12 Little Golden Books – For all those of us who grew up on Little Golden Books and Disney stories…this is the perfect gift! This set is all newer movie stories and retellings (even Star Wars!).
